UAC's training programs are designed to help all dancers
strive to achieve their goals and highest potential...
In 2008,Terry Fox, UAC's founder and artistic director, held the grand opening of his new St. Charles studio. Terry and his professionally-trained staff engage students in a variety of dance and performance arts disciplines. Students of all skill levels are taught the primary dance techniques (classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, Pointe, choreography, and repertory), as well as stage performance, music, specialty acts, and other theatrical disciplines.
Throughout the year, students learn new techniques and expand their dance repertoire through studio training and workshops led by internationally-acclaimed dancers and choreographers. Our training staff and styles are original and one of a kind ~ the teaching method focuses on discipline, proper technique, progress, and results. Through limited class sizes, we are able to better reach students on an individual level, helping each student to master technique and style, and develop into a unique performance artist.
UAC offers several training programs for student dancers...
~ Young dancers program (Pre-ballet and movement for ages 4-7)
~ Skill development program (Technique and precision work, levels 1-3)
~ Pre-professional training program (intensive training, levels 1-3)
